Band 8b Clinical psychologist- Lancashire We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Band 8b Clinical Psychologist with CAMHS expertise to join our reputable team in Blackpool, Lancashire to start immediately, working part-time hours for an initial period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for individuals within the CAMHS spectrum. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for individuals with complex mental health needs. Provide consultation and guidance to junior mental health professionals and contribute to the ongoing professional development of the team. Keep abreast of the latest developments in clinical psychology and CAMHS, incorporating best practices into daily clinical work. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with relevant professional and regulatory standards. Qualifications and Experience: Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body (HCPC). Extensive experience as a Band 8b Clinical Psychologist with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Proven expertise in conducting complex psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
