As the Reception and Administration Officer, you will create a welcoming and supportive environment for young people aged 12 to 25 seeking mental health and wellbeing support. Based in Warwick, with occasional outreach to Stanthorpe and Inglewood, you’ll provide administration support, ensuring the effective operation of the centre.
This role includes a mix of normal business hours and some out of hours work (the centre offers later appointments, so everyone has access to health care). Details of these hours/times will be discussed during your interview. About the role:
Working closely with the Centre Manager, your role will include:
4. Managing the teams’ schedules and appointments;
5. Being the first point of contact for young people and their families;
6. Processing the Medicare billings and attendance;
7. Coordinating with other health professionals;
8. Being involved in new staff inductions and organising training for staff;
9. Assisting the Centre Manager with reporting and community engagements/ events; and
10. Preparing various business documents.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications and experience in practice management and/or business administration. Awareness of and an interest in mental health programs or community services, will be well regarded. You will also require a:
11. Driver’s licence;
12. Police Check; and
13. Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
