We’re hiring for a growing hospitality group in Reading as they strengthen their finance function and sharpen their commercial focus. With continued investment, rising demand, and a review of existing processes, this is a chance to step into a role where your financial reporting will guide margin improvement, operational efficiency, and future growth.
WISH LIST
* Strong management accounting experience with a commercial edge
* Confident analysing performance, spotting trends, and challenging assumptions
* Enjoys working closely with operations to influence profitability
THE ROLE
* Produce monthly management accounts with clear, meaningful commentary
* Provide margin analysis, pricing insight, and trend reporting
* Lead the monthly forecast and annual budget process
* Prepare weekly and monthly rolling cashflow forecasts
* Maintain full balance sheet reconciliations
* Work with operations to review cost lines and highlight improvement areas
* Translate performance data into clear recommendations for senior leaders
* Strengthen controls and support system and process improvements
* Assist with commercial modelling for new sites, product lines, and initiatives
* Support group finance with consolidated reporting
* Lead ad-hoc analysis to help drive profitability and operational efficiency
YOUR PROFILE
* Qualified accountant or Qualified by experience
* Effective communicator – written & verbal
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Experience in hospitality, multi-site or operationally led environments
* Comfortable turning raw data into insight for non-finance teams
SALARY & BENEFITS
* £65,000–£70,000 + package
* 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
