We are actively seeking Privacy Lawyers with the following credentials:
* PQE: 3 - 10+ years post-qualification experience in privacy/data protection law.
* Proven experience advising on GDPR, DSARs, and data governance.
* Background in top-tier law firms or in-house at large corporate and commercial companies.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desirable:
* IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM).
* Experience with international data transfer mechanisms (SCCs, UK IDTA).
* Familiarity with cybersecurity and breach response
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
Support our corporate clients on the following:
* Advise on privacy law, GDPR compliance, including cross-border data transfers and adequacy decisions.
* Stay current and advise on emerging reporting and data tracking requirements, including EU AI Act and EU DSA.
* Provide guidance on privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and privacy by design principles on new product offerings. Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements with a focus on information law clauses, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Develop and implement data governance policies, including data retention, classification, and lawful processing.
* Manage and oversee DSAR processes:
* Consumer DSARs – Ensure timely and compliant responses.
* Employee DSARs – Handle sensitive employment-related requests, including redactions and third-party data considerations.
