The Warehouse Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Warehouse Manager to lead operations across multiple sites. You will own warehouse performance, ensure operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
* Optimise warehouse layout, stock control, and organisation for maximum efficiency.
* Motivate, guide, and support warehouse teams to meet productivity and quality standards.
* Ensure safe handling, storage, and repacking of goods in line with procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance.
* Collaborate with suppliers and clients to manage delivery expectations.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
* Champion Health & Safety best practices and ensure compliance at all times.
* Deliver on operational requirements and support wider business objectives.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing warehouse operations.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with coaching and development experience.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets and drive commercial performance.
* Sound knowledge of logistics and warehouse best practices.
* Strong Health & Safety expertise.
* High level of IT proficiency.
* Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
