Responsibilities
1. Manage multiple concurrent highway maintenance schemes
2. Supervise Clerks of Works and oversee contractors on site
3. Ensure specification compliance, quality standards, and programme delivery
4. Make sound engineering decisions relating to highways maintenance works
5. Coordinate preventative maintenance activities across live projects
Essential Experience
6. Preventative highway maintenance experience (surface dressing, micro-asphalt, slurry surfacing)
7. Strong civil engineering and contractor management background
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
9. Experience overseeing quality and specification adherence
Desirable
10. Level 3 Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
11. Local authority/highways maintenance background
12. GIS familiarity and standard IT skills
Location: Doncaster
Rate: £45 per hour Umbrella
