Regulatory Compliance Officer (Alcohol) – Wirral Council. 18 hours. Fixed Term Contract – 18 months from commencement in post. Applications are invited for a role within the Trading Standards Service.
About The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to work within the Trading Standards Service. You will contribute to the effective delivery of the statutory service using a wide range of consumer protection legislation to ensure goods and services sold within the Borough are safe and legal.
About The Candidate
The right candidate will assist in the delivery of the service by working with colleagues in Public Health to deliver a specialist project over an 18-month period linked to tackling illicit and illegal alcohol products in the Borough, age restricted sales and a business and consumer education programme.
