Senior Software Dev Engineer, Amazon Flex

Key job responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, distributed systems and cloud-based applications.
* Implement software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, continuous integration/deployment, and test-driven development.
* Identify and solve complex problems, breaking them into manageable tasks.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Mentor team members and foster an inclusive, diverse team culture.
Additional responsibilities
* Design and update core functionalities of projects and services.
* Drive technical direction and architecture of complex software systems.
* Improve system stability, performance, and security.
* Work with stakeholders to define business opportunities and develop end-to-end solutions and roadmaps.
* Coach and mentor team members, building a strong cross-functional organization.
* Provide technical expertise throughout product lifecycles and influence best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of professional software development experience.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language.
* Experience in designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.
* Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering manager.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
