Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Site Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of school facilities within the utilities sector. As a part-time role, the School Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site management, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will serve as a key point of contact for staff, students, and parents, fostering a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations and maintenance of school facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Conduct regular inspections of school grounds and facilities, identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and safety audits as required.
- Address and resolve facility-related concerns from students, staff, and parents in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with school administrators to plan and coordinate facility usage for events, classes, and activities.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders and tracking usage as necessary.
- Assist in the training and supervision of cleaning and maintenance staff.
- Act as a liaison between the school and external service providers, contractors, and utility providers.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, responding to incidents and ensuring appropriate protocols are followed.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, utilities, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role or facilities management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Basic knowledge of utilities management, maintenance, and health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software for reporting and inventory management.
- First Aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
