Overview
The Spark Arts for Children is looking for a General Manager to be part of our small dynamic team and creative children’s arts organisation.
This is a great role for someone with a background in the arts and with company management experience and or very strong arts administration and events management skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations, finances and HR and work closely with the Interim Director to support the development of the company in Leicester, regionally and nationally.
* Ensure smooth operations, enable strong relationships with stakeholders and empower a creative community of practitioners, artists and partners with the support and resources they need to deliver high quality child-centred activities across multiple community settings and arts and cultural venues.
* Support and contribute to strategic development and growth of the organisation.
Qualifications
* Background in the arts with company management experience and/or very strong arts administration and events management skills and experience.
