Were looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and support a range of capital and revenue projects. Youll be instrumental in developing long-term engineering strategies implementing new technologies and ensuring compliance with industry standards. From feasibility studies to commissioning your work will span the full project lifecycle.
What youll be doing
* Develop and deliver engineering projects aligned with site strategy.
* Lead safety studies including risk assessments HAZOP and FMEA.
* Ensure compliance with ISO / IEC EN and BS standards.
* Support change management and documentation processes.
* Collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement.
What youll need
* HNC / HND with 7 years experience or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years in an industrial setting.
* Strong CAD skills (2D / 3D modelling).
* Analytical mindset with good computing and statistical skills.
* Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
* Awareness of CDM regulations and project management techniques.
