Person Specification
Medical Degree Essential: MBChB or equivalent. Desirable: Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
GMC Registration Essential: Full registration with GMC. Desirable: In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice. Specialist Register Essential: Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months.
AC status Essential: Approved Clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
S12 approval Essential: Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
Knowledge in psychiatry Essential: Excellent knowledge in adult psychiatry including knowledge and experience of a range of conditions and complex psychological problems. Desirable: Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service.
