Healthcare Support Worker / Senior Healthcare Support Worker
We are looking for compassionate and caring health care assistants with a passion to be a key part of the patient journey at The Christie. We have opportunities across our medical, surgical and haematology wards and oncology critical care unit for band 2 health care assistants and band 3 senior health care assistants.

Being supervised by Registered Nurses and within Trust guidelines and protocols, you'll assist the Nursing team in delivering the excellent standard of patient care that you would expect for yourself and your loved ones.
Responsibilities
* Support patients with personal care needs, including mobilising, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and drinking.
* Assist in delivering clean and safe environments for patients.
* Support the Nursing team in medication administration, patient observations, and any delegated clinical care duties such as recording patient observations and changes to patient conditions.
* Ensure compliance with Trust protocols and guidelines, including infection control and patient safety standards.
* Assist with mobilisation and patient transfer, including use of mobility aids where required.
* Engage patients in conversation, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Willingness to learn and undergo induction and training programmes.
