We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a MITER Plant Operator offering a 12-month Contract onsite at Woodbridge - RLC Stores (IP123LU).
Salary: £32,097
Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week
Responsibilities
* Ensuring your personal Plant Logbook is kept up to date to accurately reflect military and commercial operations
* Maintaining and servicing Level 1/Operator for military and commercial Plant and MHE in the UK and on deployment as a Sponsored Reserve
* Carrying out first, halt and last parade service on military and commercial Plant and MHE
* Prompt fault reporting, record keeping and updating of documentation to reflect the current state of military and commercial Plant and MHE
* Driving and operating military and commercial Plant and MHE, complying with driver disciplines for vehicle classification and safety considerations
* Loading and unloading military and commercial Plant and MHE on and off transporters/rail flats
* Completing all related job and service documentation correctly, with necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer
What You Will Bring
* Previous experience operating plant & MHE is advantageous but not a necessity as full training is provided if you hold a Category C (HGV) driving licence
* Previous military experience is advantageous but not a necessity as full military reservist training is offered
* The ability to work independently and under pressure
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload
* Understanding customer needs
