Detailed job description and main responsibilities To develop and deliver clinically relevant dispensing training for the undergraduate MPharm degree at the DMU School of Pharmacy. Share any knowledge gained via specific training sessions, workshops, presentations etc. with colleagues in order to develop and underpin good practice Maintain core pharmacy technician practice skills by participating in dispensary activity (minimum one session per week) to maintain professional registration. Person specification Training & Qualifications Essential criteria Registration as a qualified Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council Management qualification or equivalent experience Desirable criteria Member of APTUK Project management experience Communication and relationship skills Essential criteria High level of verbal and written communication skills to include the ability in report writing Negotiation and influencing skills Personable, ability to network and build strong working relationships Analytical and Judgement skills Essential criteria Service evaluation and improvement Skills Essential criteria Able and willing to travel Good levels of concentration and ability to focus on task at hand to see it through Planning and organisation skills Essential criteria Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage own an others time effectively Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Essential criteria Able to demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of the importance of treating all individuals with dignity and respect appropriate to their individual needs. Disclosure and Barring Service Check Please note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check. The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment. The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
