HomeServe is recruiting for directly employed Plumbing Engineers to join our team.
Employment Details
* Location: Hemel Hempstead
* Full Time – 40 hours per week (includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work)
* Salary: £38,800 – £42,950 (salary dependent upon experience) with a £3,000 guaranteed bonus in your first year

About the Role
You will undertake the maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in customers’ homes, providing industry‑leading service and helping us enhance our reputation while driving customer growth.
Responsibilities
As a Plumbing Engineer you will:
* Maintain and repair plumbing systems in domestic settings
* Deliver high‑quality customer service and uphold company standards
* Assist in upselling services and contribute to customer growth initiatives
Requirements
* Level 2 in Plumbing (copies of certificates required)
* First and second fix plumbing experience
* Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing
* Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proactive, ‘can do’ attitude
* Keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving skills
Training & Support
* Week 1 – Attend Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday, cover HomeServe, health & safety, and receive tools and equipment
* Week 2 – Bussed with an experienced HomeServe Plumbing Engineer
For induction, accommodation and meal allowance may be paid where geographically appropriate.
