Applicant would be responsible for the maintenance, optimisation, and secure management of databases and data-driven infrastructure supporting the company’s website.. • Leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills acquired through an engineering background, the DBA will ensure website data integrity, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.. • This role plays a critical function in maintaining business continuity, enhancing user experience, and enabling evidence-based decision-making.. • Maintain, update, and manage the website’s backend databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance.. • Monitor database health, diagnose performance issues, and implement tuning or upgrades as required.. • Oversee data integration from multiple systems (e.g., user data, order logs, analytics) for reporting and operational use.. • Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure GDPR compliance, data accuracy, and secure data storage practices.. • Create dashboards and reporting tools for key business metrics, supporting real-time decision-making.
