HR Advisor – Bicester, Oxfordshire
Salary: up to £35,000
We are looking for a HR Advisor to join a supportive and collaborative people team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with managers, supporting day‑to‑day people matters, and developing their HR advisory skills in a well‑structured environment.
The HR Advisor Role
* Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and employees
* Support employee relations matters such as absence, performance and basic conduct cases
* Assist with investigations, meetings and note‑taking where required
* Provide guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures
* Support wellbeing, absence management and return‑to‑work processes
* Maintain accurate HR records and support people data reporting
* Collaborate with the wider People & Culture team on projects and initiatives
The HR Advisor Candidate
* CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
* Previous experience in an HR administration, HR officer or HR coordinator role
* Some exposure to employee relations processes (full case ownership not essential)
* A good understanding of HR policies and employment law fundamentals
* Confident, professional and comfortable building relationships with managers
* Organised, detail‑focused and keen to develop an HR advisory career
