Overview:
Our client, a leading global financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FX Options Trader to join its Emerging Markets desk, with a focus on Latin America. This is a front-office trading role offering exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the EM FX options franchise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Price and manage risk in EM FX options, with a primary focus on LATAM currencies.
* Execute trades and manage positions across a range of products including vanilla and exotic options.
* Collaborate closely with sales, structuring, and research teams to deliver client solutions and market insights.
* Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends impacting LATAM FX markets.
* Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience trading EM FX options, ideally with a LATAM focus.
* Strong understanding of options pricing, risk management, and market microstructure.
* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
* Familiarity with LATAM political and economic landscapes.
* Experience working with institutional clients and delivering tailored solutions.
