The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in Sunderland is seeking a full-time HLTA to cover a maternity leave and support teaching and learning across the school. The role includes leading small groups, delivering planned lessons, and providing targeted support to pupils of varying ages and needs. You will help maintain an engaging, inclusive learning environment and work closely with teachers to enhance pupil progress. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and primary teaching experience are essential.
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children.
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
4. An ability to work as part of a team.
