Electrical Shift Engineer | Continental Shifts - Days & Nights | Critical Environment | 46,500 - 52,500 + Package.
We are actively recruiting for Electrical Shift Engineers to join our team in a brand newly built critical environment, based in Longcross, Surrey. As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for planned maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
Role / Package Summary
* Role: Electrical Shift Engineer
* Location: Longcross - static site
* Environment: Datacentre - Critical Environment
* Hours: Continental Shift, days and nights: 4 on, 6 off, 6 on, 4 off. Only 14 shifts per month + guaranteed 2 weekends off per month. Hours 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am.
* Salary: 44,000 - 51,000 + 1,500 bonus (dependant on experience / qualifications).

Duties
* Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance to equipment within the commercial / critical environment.
* Equipment and duties may include; electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, sockets, circuits, decorative lighting, emergency lighting, security lighting, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), transformers, HV / LV power supplies and switching, HV / LV shutdowns, induction motors, fire alarm tests, power supplies to Mechanical, HVAC, fire and security systems, 1st line faults to AHUs, FCUs, CRAC units, Chillers etc.
* Providing detailed remedial reports of works.
* Supervising sub-contractors, issuing permits etc.
Requirements
* Must be a fully qualified Electrician.
* Must have experience within commercial electrical maintenance.
* Must be able to work full time, on shift.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working within critical environments or with critical systems, ie: UPS, CRAC Units, High Voltage Power Supplies + Switching.
* The ideal experience will have experience working as an Electrical Shift Engineer within a datacentre.
* The ideal candidate will have current or expired HVAP certification.
