What you'll be doing as a Senior Project Engineer
* Oversee the design development of several wastewater network projects by engineers and consultants from the initial concept design and feasibility stage to contract award.
* Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to realise opportunities, enabling scope definition and robust pricing by contractors.
* Ensure contractors and make any necessary design changes during construction, undertake the detailed design.
* Be responsible for providing the Project Teams with the support they need during the commissioning and handover of assets.
* Conduct design reviews to ensure robust and safe solutions that meet business and operational requirements.
* Act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during the initial design stages.
Hybrid – Hampton Coal Wharf.
As part of this role, you will be required to be on-site 2-3 days a week, working 36 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
The successful candidate must have a driver's license and access to a car, but please apply if you don't, as we are open to candidates without a vehicle.
What you should bring to the role
* Hold an Engineering HNC or a degree, or a master's degree in a specific Engineering discipline.
* Be a chartered engineer or approaching chartership status with a relevant professional organisation.
* Understanding the principles of project delivery in process industries.
* Understanding of Health & Safety in the Construction Industry.
* Understanding the decision of industrial processes in the engineering discipline.

* Competitive salary from £46,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
