The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you’ll lead strategic supplier engagement across manufacturing and engineering portfolios.
This isn’t transactional procurement—it’s strategic relationship leadership. You’ll use data, insight, and influence to align global suppliers to complex project needs, strengthen delivery capability, and drive continuous improvement across major national infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a strategic partner to key global suppliers, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and long-term value creation
* Lead supplier performance management, relationship reviews, and risk mitigation activities
* Harness data and analytics (e.g. Power BI) to measure performance and unlock improvement opportunities
* Support project teams through effective forecasting, capacity planning, and supplier integration
* Influence senior stakeholders and embed a culture of supply chain excellence across the organisation
About You:
You’re a strategic, data-driven supply chain professional who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering measurable impact.
You’ll likely have:
* Proven experience in supply chain or procurement within engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructure
* A strategic mindset with confidence to make independent, insight-led decisions
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Working knowledge of CIPS principles and supplier performance frameworks
* Willingness to travel 2–3 days per week for supplier and site engagement
