Salary: NJC Grade F SCP 19-24 £32,061 - £35,412 per annum

Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals to join the Benefits service as a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Benefit Specialist (supported accommodation). The successful candidate will be required to undertake any of the duties and responsibilities associated with the Senior Benefit Specialist role with an emphasis on supported accommodation. The role will be based on the Benefit Processing team dealing with complex customer cases and supporting team members. A secondment will be considered.
To supervise and train team members, provide information and on-going assistance to staff, and to support service delivery for the Benefit service.
To assist with organising resource and provide business information and support in a complex administrative area to internal and external customers.
You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being a team player and someone who can work on a variety of tasks to tight deadlines.
