Job Description – Regional Operations Manager
40 Hours per week – Competitive Salary – 10% Bonus plus £1,300 flexible benefits fund
Introduction
Heritage Portfolio are looking for a dynamic leader based in Edinburgh, overseeing a venue cluster across the east of Scotland. The role includes managing a team of talented individuals and is responsible for a mix of events, fine dining, and cafes. It centers on service excellence and creating an exceptional dining experience at galleries, museums, castles, or gardens.
What you’ll do
* Lead and develop high‑performing management teams
* Drive operational excellence across multiple sites
* Manage and grow key client relationships
* Deliver strong commercial performance and P&L accountability
* Identify opportunities for business growth and contract retention
* Maintain exceptional standards in food, service, health & safety, and customer experience
What you bring
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a team in the hospitality industry
* Strong commercial background with multisite P&L responsibility
* Passionate interest in the catering industry and knowledge of current trends
* Demonstrable experience in a high‑volume hospitality and retail catering environment
* Competent communicator able to present to colleagues, peers, and clients
* Organised with excellent planning skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e‑mail
* Proven record of managing operations, culinary, coordination, and finance teams
* Ability to motivate a team of mixed abilities and personalities
* Experience and understanding of event costings and design of events
* Experience assisting in the creation of a sales and marketing plan
