Construction Tutor Location: Gloucestershire Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week The Role The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions across a variety of construction trades, supporting learners of different abilities and backgrounds. Key responsibilities include: Delivering practical and classroom-based sessions in areas such as bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, groundworks, and general construction skills Preparing lesson plans, schemes of work, and training materials Demonstrating safe and correct use of tools, equipment, and materials Assessing learner progress through practical observations and coursework Supporting learners with additional learning or behavioural needs Promoting high standards of health and safety within workshop environments Supporting employability skills, portfolios, and progression opportunities Maintaining learner records, reports, and compliance documentation Supporting curriculum development and continuous improvement activities Requirements Experience working within the construction industry Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant construction trade Strong practical construction knowledge across one or more disciplines Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills Passion for su...
