Overview
Equans is looking for a Multi‑Skilled Plumber to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This full‑time role works in partnership with Birmingham City Council on their repairs and maintenance contract on social housing. The role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections and assessments of plumbing systems to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing faucets and repairing toilets.
* Install and maintain plumbing fixtures, fittings and appliances according to specifications and regulatory standards.
* Assist with general maintenance duties as required, including carpentry, painting and patch plastering.
* Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing or equivalent.
* Valid CSCS / JIB card.
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in construction.
* Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair work.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems related to plumbing.
* Full UK driving licence.
