Morson Talent is partnering with a leading national infrastructure organisation to recruit a Senior Technology Engineer into their Engineering & Asset Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of national infrastructure improvements, focusing on the development and delivery of early solutions across a broad technology asset portfolio.
This role is available on a hybrid basis from any of several regional offices across England. The position involves occasional travel and requires a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the planning and development of early-stage solutions for highway technology assets, ensuring compliance with national standards and policies
Evaluate asset data and identify needs using structured methodologies and prioritisation frameworks
Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing are embedded throughout project planning and delivery stages
Monitor early solution delivery and coordinate with delivery teams to resolve emerging issues
Maintain high-quality asset data records in line with national protocols and timescales
Drive value through innovative engineering approaches, cost modelling, and buildability assessments
What Were Looking For:
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (or equivalent) with relevant professional membership
Degree or HND in a relevant engineering or technology discipline, with demonstrable experience
Strong knowledge of asset condition assessment techniques and degradation modelling
Familiarity with UK highways standards (e.g., DMRB) and their practical application
Understanding of value management and cost-benefit analysis processes
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
