28 hours per week - 8 hour shifts
Week one – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week Two – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
We’re looking for a compassionate and detail‑oriented Housekeeper to join our dementia care team. This role is about far more than keeping spaces clean, it’s about creating a safe, calm, and comforting environment where residents can feel at home and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean resident rooms and communal areas to a high standard
2. Follow infection‑control and health & safety procedures
3. Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and returning items
4. Use cleaning products safely and correctly
5. Report maintenance issues promptly
6. Work respectfully around residents’ routines and needs
Requirements:
7. Kind, patient, and comfortable interacting with people living with dementia
8. Experience in housekeeping
9. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
10. Basic understanding of safe cleaning practices
