In this role, you will lead a small, high-performing team within a business recognised for its strong reputation, technical excellence, and ongoing growth across the UK and Europe. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving connector-focused business development and technical engagement with OEMs and suppliers, working with cutting-edge technologies across multiple sectors.
As the Senior Technology Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead and develop the company’s connectors product strategy, driving new business opportunities with OEMs and suppliers across the UK.
* Convert design wins and new opportunities into profitable, sustainable growth.
* Deliver technical pre- and post-sales support, ensuring customers receive tailored connector solutions to meet their design and performance needs.
* Engage in detailed technical discussions with engineers and project teams to support product selection and integration.
* Accurately interpret and present technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
As Senior Technology Manager, You Will Bring
* Strong technical understanding of connectors and interconnect solutions (board-to-board, wire-to-board, circular, industrial, or high-speed connectors).
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (preferred).
* Proven success in business development, achieving design wins, and building strong OEM relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of the electronic components and connectors market.
* Demonstrated leadership or team management experience (preferred).
