Job Purpose
To work closely with stakeholders and act as a key contact on all procurement-related business. Undertaking procurement activities for medium value contracts within the procurement strategy. Providing support to procurement and finance colleagues and identifying savings opportunities against agreed timescales.
Main Duties
* Processing requisitions and orders via the trust's e-tendering system.
* Producing reports on supplier spend, product usage, and savings analysis.
* Collaborating within a procurement team of 17 staff, fostering teamwork and contributions from all members.
* Maintaining daily contact with procurement and finance colleagues, suppliers, NHS Supply Chain, Clinical Procurement Specialist Nurses, and clinical staff across both organisations.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply - Level 3 (or commitment to work towards).
Experience
* Experience in purchasing and procurement.
* Experience analyzing basic information and spend data to support decision-making.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and relevant legislation on public expenditure.
* Understanding of contract structures and principles.
* Experience managing change related to processes, people, products, and suppliers.
* Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Awareness of current market environments and opportunities for improvement.
