Rutherford Cross is delighted to support its West Lothian based client in the appointment of an Interim Financial Consultant. The role will be on a 6-month period, report to the CFO and require 4 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head of Finance, Financial Controller or SME Finance Director who is extremely hands on and comfortable in leading a medium sized finance team, ideally with a background in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet for individual entities and a consolidation for the group Production of annual statutory accounts for each entity and for the group, liaising with external auditors Support month-end close, journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Leading and managing the finance team Cashflow management and forecasting Balance sheet reconciliations Identifying process gaps and implementing control improvements For more information on the role, please contact Derek Lauder at Rutherford Cross.
