Overview
As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our national Property Disputes team and have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join us in either our Bristol or Newcastle office. What will you be doing? Our Property Disputes team is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the UK, advising a broad range of clients on complex real estate litigation and property management matters. Our client base includes landlords, tenants, developers, investors, managing agents, and public sector bodies, spanning sectors such as retail, energy, social housing, PRS, Build to Rent, student accommodation, and government. You'll support our lawyers on a wide variety of contentious property matters, including landlord and tenant issues (e.g. 1954 Act renewals, dilapidations, break notices, short tenancy and long leasehold disputes), as well as general property litigation such as adverse possession, easements, title disputes, disrepair, trespass, injunctions, and licensing. You'll be involved in drafting correspondence and court documents, assisting with disclosure, conducting legal research, and managing key dates. You'll also benefit from regular client contact, helping to build your communication and relationship skills. The team works closely with our Real Estate colleagues, offering a collaborative environment and access to high-quality work from day one. You'll be part of a supportive, tight-knit group with a strong commitment to development and a collegiate culture. Find out more about our Responsible Business initiatives here, including our net zero goals, local community engagement and social inclusion. Given the nature and pace of our work, we're ideally looking for someone with previous experience in property litigation, though we're open to candidates with a background in real estate or general litigation. You'll need to be highly organised, efficient, and capable of managing competing priorities under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this client‑facing role.
