About the Role
The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the sales team, customers, and delivery partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Coordinate and schedule delivery operations in alignment with customer orders and business needs.
* Utilise Purchase Orders for logistics, products and service-based operations.
* Organise travel for technicians using designated 3rd‑party travel management companies.
* Communicate with internal departments (warehouse, sales, procurement) to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
* Manage product certification as required.
* Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
* Track shipments and update delivery status in the system.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery notes and proof of delivery.
* Resolve delivery‑related inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with third‑party carriers or drivers to ensure proper execution of deliveries.
* Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports on delivery performance metrics.
* Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or a related field is a plus.
* Proven experience in logistics, transportation coordination or delivery operations.
* Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and tracking systems.
* Familiarity with local geography and transportation regulations is advantageous.
