Role overview
We are looking for a Project Worker to support people with learning disabilities and autistic people to gain skills, confidence and experience around independent travel. You will help people build their travel knowledge and overcome barriers through a mix of one-to-one support, group sessions and travel practice.
This role is based at the Advonet office at the Unity Business Centre, Leeds, with regular travel across Leeds and the expectation of in-person working at least eight times per month.

Key responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred travel training and support to people with a learning disability
* Develop and run group workshops and activities
* Work with individuals to set and review goals
* Keep records and contribute to project monitoring
* Support co-production and peer involvement throughout the project
About you
We are seeking someone who is kind, empathetic and passionate about inclusion. You should have:
* Good communication and listening skills
* A good knowledge of public transport in Leeds
* Confidence to work as part of a team
