Shape the Future of Health Services — From Strategy to Execution
Are you someone who doesn’t just manage change, but drives it? Do you thrive at the intersection of business strategy, digital transformation, and operational excellence?
My client are looking for an exceptional Business Architect / Consultant to take the reins of large-scale transformation programmes in the fast-evolving world of health insurance. This role offers more than architecture — it’s your opportunity to redefine how healthcare services are delivered, with real impact across technology, operations, and the lives of millions.
You’ll be at the heart of transformation — designing future-state capabilities, aligning enterprise goals with innovative tech, and orchestrating complex change across multiple domains.
What You’ll Drive & Deliver:
Architect the Future of Health Services
* Create modern, scalable Target Operating Models (TOMs), capability frameworks, and process architectures that reshape how functions like underwriting, claims, provider networks, and billing operate.
* Build business architecture models that deliver compliance, agility, and competitive edge — all aligned to regulatory requirements and long-term business goals.
Lead Tech-Enabled Transformation
* Spearhead end-to-end redesign of legacy processes using next-gen platforms (think CRM, policy admin systems, workflow automation tools).
* Work hand-in-hand with enterprise architects and delivery leads to ensure technology truly serves the business vision.
* Lead evaluations of digital platforms and vendors, ensuring scalability, performance, and customer-centric design.
Own Change from the Inside Out
* Collaborate with senior executives to define programme KPIs and strategic success metrics.
* Shape change impact assessments, communication strategies, and training plans that bring people along for the ride.
* Act as the crucial link between business and tech — translating vision into delivery.
Drive Continuous Improvement
* Identify pain points and lead lean process improvements that reduce cost, improve speed, and elevate quality.
* Apply Six Sigma, VOC analysis, and other improvement frameworks to bring measurable outcomes that matter.
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience:
* 8+ years in business architecture, transformation consulting, or strategy-led programme delivery.
* Deep insight into health insurance operations, products, and regulatory landscapes (or similar regulated sectors).
* A proven record of leading tech-enabled change across multi-functional environments.
Skills & Certifications:
* Mastery in developing TOMs, process flows (BPMN), capability maps, and detailed business requirements.
* Experience with core health insurance systems (e.g., Facets, OHI, Guidewire, Salesforce Health Cloud).
* Strong expertise in change management, benefits realization, and stakeholder engagement.
* Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (but not essential — demonstrable lean expertise is what counts).
Tools & Frameworks:
* Skilled in tools like Ardoq, LeanIX, Sparx EA, or Bizagi.
* Delivery fluency across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
* Excellent communicator, facilitator, and analytical thinker — equally comfortable with C-level discussions or detailed process mapping.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, or similar field.
* Certifications in TOGAF, BIZBOK, or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
* Familiarity with relevant compliance standards (HIPAA, NHS Digital, FCA, or others depending on geography).
Why This Role, Why Now?
This is your chance to lead from the front — not as a cog in the wheel, but as a trusted strategic partner and change agent. You’ll influence C-suite decision-making, shape the digital core of a critical sector, and see your ideas turned into real-world improvements.
If you’re ready for a role that offers real impact, ownership, and purpose, I want to hear from you. Even if you weren’t actively looking, this could be the opportunity that elevates your career to the next level.
