Your new role
As a Graduate or Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of site investigation and assessment projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental assessments.
2. Conducting site walkovers, soil and groundwater sampling, and supervising ground investigations.
3. Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
4. Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators.
5. Contributing to risk assessments and remediation strategies.
6. Working closely with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality technical outputs.
You’ll be based in Hertfordshire, with occasional travel to sites across the UK.
What you'll need to succeed
7. A relevant degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, or Physical Geography.
8. Either recent graduation or up to 1–2 years of experience in geo-environmental consultancy.
9. A good understanding of contaminated land and/or geotechnical principles.
10. Strong written and verbalmunication skills.
11. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
12. A full UK driving licence, vehicle and willingness to travel to site locations.
