Occupational Therapist – Community Rehabilitation Team, Queen Margaret Hospital (Intermediate Care Service)
Overview
Provide assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload of mainly older people with complex needs as in‑patients, out‑patients, or home visits. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across community hospital sites.
Responsibilities
* Assess and manage therapy needs for older adults in the intermediate care setting.
* Work independently and collaboratively within the team.
* Coordinate care, liaise with other professionals, and provide updates.
* Participate in regular supervision, PDP and training.
* Travel within the area to attend different community sites.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.
* Experience working with older people is desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Working Hours
Flexible hours over 7 days with current public holiday working (including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).
