Smile Education is proudly supporting a specialist SEN school in Rowley Regis on their search for several Learning Support Practitioners to join their team from September. About the Role:
* Full-time, long-term positions available across Year 7, Year 8, and Sixth Form
* Work in small classes (max. 10 students) to provide tailored learning support
* Support students with a range of additional and complex needs
* Confidently deliver parts of the curriculum and develop small-group or 1:1 activities
* Play a key role in behaviour management and helping students access learning
* Be a valued member of a collaborative and supportive staff team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Recent experience working with students with SEND (e.g. ASD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
* Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive, nurturing approach
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one via Smile Education)
* Confidence in delivering curriculum content and adapting materials to meet individual needs
* Commitment to working long-term and helping students reach their full potential
