Cumbria Police have an exciting opportunity to join our Command-and-Control Room as an omni-competent operator. This role will start off in our call handling function (CMR) answering calls on, and responding to emails and web chats.
The successful candidate will spend time in call handling and have the opportunity in the future to be trained as a dispatcher.
This role puts you at the forefront of keeping Cumbria Safe. People ring the police when they are having the worst day of their lives, as the person on the other end of the phone you can make sure they get the best service possible.
This role requires someone who is resilient, compassionate, a team player and who wants to helps us achieve our Chief Constable's mission of "Keeping Cumbria Safe".
