Our Planning service is continuing with our major change programme to help make it fit for the future and be fully able to support the significant change Edinburgh faces in the years ahead. We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Senior Transport Officer within the Specialist Team, you will be committed to delivering an efficient, effective and customer-focused Planning service and delivering great places. The role covers transport input to a varied and challenging range and volume of planning cases, involvement with road construction consents, Quality Audits, stopping up orders, as well as strategy and policy work. There will also be a supervisor role for the Transport Officer/s.
You will be contributing to change and improvement, and for supporting the professional development of yourself and your colleagues.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
