Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team based in Glenrothes Hospital. The Intermediate Care Service provides rehabilitation to the adult population within the locality. This will be delivered to service users as in‑patients, out‑patients or within their own home.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload of mainly older people with complex needs.
* Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
* Work independently and within the team as required.
* May be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites.
* Travel throughout the area.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Experience working with older people would be beneficial.
* Excellent organisational skills.
Working Hours & Conditions
Working hours flexibly over 7 days is part of developments and current Public Holiday working is in operation (accept Christmas Day and New Years Day).
