What This Role Is All About
As our Business Development Manager, you will be the engine behind our growth and innovation. You'll bring a deep understanding of our service lines, from supported living and day opportunities to community services and outreach and use that insight to identify opportunities that align with our purpose and strengths.
You will:
* Build strong, trusted relationships with commissioners, partners, and stakeholders
* Identify new business opportunities and lead creative approaches to service development
* Understand local needs, market trends, and commissioning priorities
* Shape compelling proposals that reflect our values and deliver real outcomes
* Work closely with operational leaders to ensure new services are safe, sustainable, and person‑centred
* Champion innovation and help us expand our impact across the region
This is a role for someone who wants to grow services that matter, not just chase contracts.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree-level qualification in business, social care, or a related field.
* Experience of working within a local authority trading company or social enterprise.
* Knowledge of Shared Lives and other community-based care models.
