Durham County Council is seeking to appoint an Assistant Team Manager to join the Durham and Chester Le Street Locality Team.
What is involved?
The Assistant Team Manager is responsible for assisting the Manager in work allocation, deployment of resources, ensuring and developing professional standards and performance, plus delegated responsibilities in the Locality Team Manager's absence.
What will I need?
It is expected that the successful candidate will have an up to date knowledge of multi‑Agency working, Court of Protection work and the service’s Integration agenda.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent, plus current Social Work England Registration and have attained progression status following relevant experience in a Social Care setting and with experience of working with the client group serviced by the team.
If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
