Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Antrim

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum

I'm currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our client's specialist joinery and fit-out company based in Antrim. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality projects, contributing to the design and delivery of exceptional joinery and fit-out solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and Drafting:
o Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for joinery and fit-out projects.
o Produce accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications and design briefs.
o Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative solutions.
* Project Coordination:
o Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are aligned with project requirements.
o Update and modify drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
o Assist in the preparation of project documentation and schedules.
* Quality Control:
o Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
o Perform thorough checks of drawings for accuracy and completeness.
o Participate in project reviews and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
* Previous experience in joinery and fit-out projects is highly desirable.
* Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods related to joinery and fit-out.
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
* Relevant qualifications in CAD, engineering, or a related field.
