Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications & Vetting
• Hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).
• Provide a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history. Failure to do so could mean the offer will be withdrawn or employment terminated.
Main Duties
* Deliver industry‑leading customer service
* Deter violence and public order offences
* Conduct patrols of the store
* Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
* Liaise with the store management teams
* Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
* Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
