Private Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive - Liverpool City Centre
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive to join an established and well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool City Centre.
This role would suit a motivated individual with a genuine interest in Private Client work, particularly trusts, probate, wills and estate planning. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment with strong opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression.
The Role
The successful candidate will support solicitors within the Private Client department and assist with a varied caseload of matters including:
* Wills
* Probate
* Trusts
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Estate administration
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the day‑to‑day management of Private Client files
* Conducting legal research and preparing relevant documentation
* Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Supporting administrative tasks relating to estate administration
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
* Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within Private Client law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
* The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
Desirable Experience
* Legal qualification or relevant Paralegal training
* Previous exposure to wills, probate, trusts or estate administration matters
