Associate Director – Test Analyst
Location: Winchester/Hybrid
The Role
* Lead end‑to‑end testing of the enterprise application estate for a large cloud‑based SaaS ERP rollout across Sales, Service, Order Management, Finance, Operations (Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics).
* Ensure all software applications meet required standards before release as part of the DX programme.
* Report to the Test Lead and document test artefacts, data, scripts and trackers.
* Develop testing frameworks for both business and IT teams, applying deep knowledge of ERP solutions.
* Provide training and guidance to subject‑matter experts on repeatable testing processes.
* Evaluate testing requirements, plan execution, track results and recommend improvements.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and compliance standards.
* Identify, report and document defects; collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Manage testing of multiple systems within the technology estate – ERP, CRM, Digital and Web applications.

Key Tasks
* Requirement analysis and gap identification.
* Design and develop comprehensive test cases and scripts.
* Prepare test data covering all scenarios.
* Execute manual and automated tests, record results, perform regression, integration and performance tests.
* Log, classify and track defects using DevOps.
* Prepare detailed test reports and key metrics.
* Ensure quality assurance standards and peer reviews of testing artefacts.
* Support user acceptance testing, coordinate iterations and defect management.
* Drive continuous improvement – suggest enhancements and stay up‑to‑date with industry trends.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of plans, cases, results and defect reports.
Internal Control
* Own all testing activities, design, data hygiene, mapping and GDPR practices.
* Implement remedial actions for control deficiencies.
* Maintain documentation of policies and procedures for testing.
* Ensure compliance with Group J‑Sox CLC, FRCLC and PLC requirements.
* Support internal and external audit activities as required.
Operational Excellence

* Notify management of suspicious or non‑standard activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Test Analyst, preferably in an ERP environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of testing lifecycle, methodologies, techniques and tools.
* Proven ability to create, build and run effective test plans and cases.
* Strong translation of business process knowledge into well‑defined test cases.
* Attention to detail for accurate defect identification and reporting.
* Experience in DevOps environments with problem‑solving and debugging skills.
* End‑to‑end testing across multiple applications, technologies and integrations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
* Adaptability to dynamic, fast‑paced environments and shifting priorities.
* Proactive decision‑making, balancing innovation and business value.
* Experience with MS D365 F&O, HR or CE.
* Experience with automated test‑management tools/processes.
* ISEB/ISTQB certification.
