Description
Our client is going through an exciting period of change with extensive growth plans. They are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to design and deliver a programme of change, to include:
* The relocation of manufacturing and distribution operations from one site to others
* Optimisation of site operations and layouts
* Coordination of all workstreams, including manufacturing, distribution, systems and people
* Hands on role, devising the strategy and making the change happen
* Apply lean manufacturing principles to ensure optimum success of the change
* Act as the operational lead on the project, working with multiple workstream leads including IT and HR
* Manage all Health & Safety related risk
Profile
This Manufacturing Project Manager role requires an experienced hands-on Operations Manager or Director with extensive experience of Project Management, with:
* Proven experience in site consolidation and relocation
* Strong industrial manufacturing and distribution background
* Experience of the full project lifecycle and working across multiple workstreams
* Experience with ERP systems
* Lean Manufacturing, ideally with a relevant qualification
* Ability to work autonomously and at pace
* Strong stakeholder management experience
* Ability to start this role on short notice and commit to 12-18 months and beyond, ideally based in the Midlands region
Job Offer
This interim Manufacturing Project Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for a manufacturing expert. On offer is:
* c£350-500/day or salary c£80k, dependent on experience
