We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Worksop, supporting our customer, B&Q. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will follow all regulations, monitoring and maintaining all SSOW, Risk Assessments and Welfare Assessments while growing the safety culture, striving to be a company that cares for the safety of our colleagues and customers.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors, ensuring the contract is operating within health and safety legal requirements and in line with the company policies and procedures
* Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive a culture of continuous improvement
* Facilitate implementation of corrective actions and preventative actions where required
* Participate and support in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non conformances
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Holder of a NEBOSH general certification is required
* Analytical thinking to identify root causes of incidents and develop practical solutions
* Ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
* Proven experience managing Health and Safety
